Allen Construction | Custom Home Construction and Remodeling

Allen Construction brings serious credentials to the table—a perfect 5.0 rating across 10 Google reviews and 44 Houzz clients. That Houzz number tells me they're doing repeat custom work, not quick flips. The recent reviews are thin on detail, but the 2020 comment from a repeat client praising VP Ian Cronshaw and the team's delivery "beyond what you can dream" suggests they handle complex projects with patience. Their service list spans the full remodel spectrum: kitchens, baths, electrical, plumbing, concrete, siding.

The project photos show practical upgrades—tankless water heaters, gas ranges, garage conversions, ADUs, bonus rooms—the kind of work that requires coordination across multiple trades. In Santa Barbara's tight permitting environment, that matters. One reviewer mentioned they offer public EV charging at their Milpas Street location, which is a nice community touch but doesn't tell me much about their construction chops. The Instagram presence is active through mid-2026, indicating they're still in business and engaged.

What's missing: detailed recent feedback and project specifics. The older reviews are enthusiastic but vague. If you're considering Allen Construction for a major remodel, I'd ask for references from the past two years and walk through completed projects similar to yours before signing.
