Malibu Kitchen Company

Malibu Kitchen Company sits on East Figueroa with a perfect 5.0 rating, though the evidence is thin—just two Google reviews, one from 2017 and another from 2016 with no text. The single detailed review talks about woven shades, color consultation, and interior design guidance, which doesn't quite match the listed services of kitchen remodeling and windows and doors. Their social presence leans heavily toward Instagram (@santabarbarainteriors), with regular posts through 2026, but without visible content snippets I can't confirm what kind of work they're actually showcasing.

The project photo titles focus entirely on window components—grids, casings, aprons, sills, low-E glass, triple-pane options, SHGC ratings. That suggests real technical knowledge about fenestration, which matters in our salt-air climate where cheap windows corrode fast. But the disconnect between the interior-design review, the kitchen company name, and the window-heavy portfolio raises questions about what this business has evolved into. If you're considering them for a kitchen or window project, ask directly about recent completed work and request local references from the past two years. The rating is encouraging, but two old reviews don't tell me enough about current capacity or craftsmanship.
