Noorsher Furniture & Rugs on State Street is primarily a rug specialist, not a general flooring contractor—something worth clarifying upfront. Their perfect 5.0 rating across four Google reviews spans from 2017 to 2021, with customers praising "top quality from all over the world" and fair pricing. One reviewer notes a rug still looking new after three years of heavy foot traffic and three babies, which speaks to durability better than any sales pitch could.
The image titles suggest they've installed rugs in typical residential spaces—mudrooms, foyers, landings, bedrooms—but I don't see evidence of hardwood installation, tile work, or the kind of flooring services most Santa Barbara homeowners search for when they need subfloor repair or refinishing. If you're hunting for a quality area rug with knowledgeable staff who understand construction and longevity, this looks like a solid downtown option. But if you need someone to install engineered hardwood or diagnose a squeaky floor, you'll want a different kind of flooring contractor. The sparse review count means the sample size is thin, though what's there is consistently positive.
