Keystone Masonry

Goleta, CA

Local guide

David Moreno’s take

David Moreno
Keystone Masonry operates out of Goleta focusing on concrete and patio work, but the evidence here is thin enough that I'd want to see more before sending a homeowner their way. They've got a single 4-star Houzz review and a profile listing, which tells me they're at least getting some visibility in the local market, but one data point doesn't give you much to work with when you're deciding who to trust with your hardscape.

Concrete and patio specialists can be solid craftspeople—I've worked alongside masons who treat every pour like sculpture and others who rush the finish work. Without project photos showing their jointing details, surface prep, or how they handle drainage on our sloped coastal lots, I can't speak to their approach. Same goes for recent customer feedback describing communication, timeline management, or how they solved problems when the work hit complications.

If you're considering Keystone for a driveway replacement or backyard patio, ask to see completed projects in person and get multiple references you can actually call. Concrete work is unforgiving—what you see in the first month is what you'll live with for decades.
