David Moreno’s take

David Moreno
Grace Landscape has me concerned. The company shows a 4.5 overall rating on the directory, but when you dig into the actual reviews, there's only one Google review on file—and it's a scathing one-star account from August 2024 describing corner-cutting, mismanagement, and work that had to be torn out and redone. That's a red flag I can't ignore. The photo titles suggest they handle outdoor lighting (transformers, uplights, path lights), seasonal color installations, and yard cleanups, which are bread-and-butter landscape tasks. But without a track record of satisfied clients speaking up, I can't vouch for their execution.

In twenty-seven years, I've seen plenty of landscape contractors who talk a good game but can't deliver consistent quality—especially when it comes to proper grading, irrigation tie-ins, and lighting voltage. One angry review isn't always the full story, but it's the only story here, and the specifics ("ripped out and done over by a professional") tell me someone paid twice for the same job. Until Grace Landscape builds a deeper review history that shows they've addressed whatever went wrong in 2024, I'd keep looking.
